We are a Polish based company engaged in the production and sale of hand-made wooden games such as chess sets, checkers or backgammon.

 Our company was established in 1996 in Poland and has been steadily growing. We currently export to most European countries, as well as to the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan.

The terms and conditions below apply to all orders placed with us via our web site. By placing an order it is deemed that you accept these terms and conditions.

Making A Purchase

Just browse through our catalogue pages and click the "add to cart" button for any items that you wish to buy. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to fulfill your order. You can always see a details of your order by selecting "Details" button.

  • COD (Cash on delivery by UPS). COD service is available only for European Union countries

Shipping And delivery time

You will have the option of specifying a method of shipping when you reach the checkout page. Shipping costs depend upon your location, the shipping method requested and the weight of your order. All orders are shipped from Poland.

Delivery time depends on amount of the order and also on type of ordered products. Usually we can ship worldwide within 5-7 days.
We have special agreements signed up with UPS (United Parcel Service) and FedEx as well as with several air and ground forwarding companies.

Delivery time is about 3-4 working days (UPS door-to-door delivery and no customs paper work for you).

Delivery time depends on your location, usally it is 45 days.


For most European countries it takes 2-4 working days to deliver with UPS.

For truck shipments within Europe it takes up to 7 working days to deliver goods.


We are not responsible for any damage resulting from transport by the Polish Post (Air mail). These items are not insured!

We declare that all items we sell are of POLISH preferential origin. WE DO NOT use child's labour and materials we use for production are only from plantation and other ecological sources.

Tax Charges

All prices on the site are quoted in Euro. They will be converted into your own currency, by your credit/debit card issuer. Prices are shown with Tax (VAT) at the current PL rate. The VAT inclusive price is what customers with a delivery address inside the European Union (EU) will pay.

If you are ordering from outside the EU and you choose UPS courier service please bear in mind that customs duty or import taxes may be levied on your imported goods. Please check with your local customs office for tax rates and applicability before ordering as you are responsible for payment of import duty and taxes levied by your own government.

Credit Card Security

Payments are processed  by PayU, a leading provider of electronic payment processing solutions. This options offer secured online payment procedures using data encryption.


All goods are insured by us against loss or damage in transit to the customer. Any claim for damage in transit or for goods being defective must be made within 3 days of receipt of the goods.

Requests for couriers to leave goods in an unsecured location will invalidate any insurance claim for loss of goods.

All goods remain the property of SUNRISE Michał Rywacki until paid for in full. Placing an order is deemed to be acceptance of these terms. See "returns policy" for additional information.

Privacy Policy

SUNRISE Michał Rywacki do not disclose customers' names, addresses etc. to third parties except for goods delivery purposes. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)

d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases

e. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

f. You have the option to sign-up to receive marketing emails, if you wish, at the checkout

Returns Policy

1) Good damaged or faulty

  • The Customer must inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and in all cases must inform SUNRISE Michał Rywacki in writing (including email) within 3 days of delivery of any damage, shortages or non-delivery of the goods.
  • Goods received damaged or faulty may be returned for replacement or refund. If a refund is requested we will also refund the cost of return postage using standard first or second class post.
  • Please contact us in advance for returns address and advice on best procedure.

2) Goods not damaged or faulty.

  • You have seven working days following receipt of your order during which you may return goods. ("Cooling off period")
  • Any such returned goods must be in perfect condition (including any packaging, instruction manuals etc.) and unused. We will levy a 15% re-stocking fee (minimum 10.00 euro) for returns which do not reach us in perfect condition.
  • The cost of both the outgoing and return postage must be met by the customer.
  • Refunds will be made only when we have received the returned goods safely.
  • This policy does not apply to sealed software.
